Humorous Quotes Eases The Atmosphere and Brings Smiles To Lots of Faces

Humorous quotes are the perfect way to draw a laugh out of some one. They are just great to lighten up a situation and make these seem a lot better. Humorous quotes come from many places, but in our culture a lot of them have come from movies.
If you went to Facebook and begin looking through you friends profiles, go to the Favorite Quote section. As you read, you will see that many of these quotes are funny and will make you smile on the spot.
Some humorous quotes are funny on the spot and no thinking is required. Other times, however, you just need to allow a few of the quotes to settle in to your mind then you will think they’re funny. “Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry.” is a funny thing Bill Cosby once said. At first look, you probably will not get it.
What if you named your child Robbie and Robbie did something he shouldn’t have done. He is at a friends house down the street and you yell out, “Roooobbbbbiiiiiieeeeee!” You can carry out that vowel noise and make it more powerful. His walk home is long and he knows that he is in trouble.
Attempt to use a different name, like Bob, for example. The ‘b’ sound when you yell, “Bob” will not be as powerful. Ironically, Bob could be excited and come back smiling. That vowel sound helps bring that point home that they are in trouble.
The joke may have been ruined by a long explanation, but if you think about it from the start it’s funny. But at the end of the day, do not underestimate quotes that you don’t get at first.
However, there are some one liners that can get you laughing. For example, with a Texan accent: “I’m as confused as a sprayed cockroach!” If you don’t chuckle at that, something could be wrong with you. Other one-liners are good because you can poke fun at people. Jay Leno: Don’t forget Mother’s Day. Or as they call it in Beverly Hills, Dad’s Third Wife Day.” Even people in Beverly Hills should laugh about that.
